My name is Helen, and together with my family we have had the pleasure of been owned by these very special cats for over 20 years.
Our first Aby’s were Joda, a beautiful tawny male, with a exceptional temperament and Erin a little green eyed tawny female. They were bought up with our children, who delighted in dressing them up and pushing them around in a dolls pram, they went for show and tell at primary school and everyone who met them fell for them.
In loving memory of them in 2005 our Breeding Prefix “Jodaerin” was born.
Our Foundation Queen was Taliz Cracklin Rosie, entrusted to us by my friend Jan. I spent 2005 showing her around Australia, and was very fortunate through this one little cat, to of made so many wonderful “Aby” friends, not just in Australia but worldwide, who have been my mentor’s and provided such an overwhelming network of support for my family.
Jodaerin are registered breeders with The Feline Control Council of WA (ACF) and breed according to their ethics and standards. My own breeding ethics will always be to breed healthy quality kittens with exceptional temperaments so that others may enjoy the experience of being owned by these very special cats..
In recent years I have taken pride in showing Jodaerin cats all over Australia, and am extremely proud at how well they have done.. 2007 at only 7 months old, Armani was the SupremeGroup Three Exhibit at the ACF National in Hobart, 2009 Ringo was the Supreme Exhibit at the Perth Royal Show, Kisses in the Moonlight was the Best Blue Exhibit in the Abyssinian Breeder Awards & 2010 saw Armani become a National Show Champion.
I have only two to three litters each year, I aim to breed healthy, happy, robust kittens with exceptional temperaments, all kittens are raised in a home environment, and I strive to make improvements to my breeding along the way.
All Jodaerin breeding cats are Pk Normal, PRA Normal, FeLV Negative, and TF Negative.
Kittens are available to approved Indoor homes only, they are Vet checked twice, have two vaccinations, are desexed, microchipped, litter trained and well socialised. I hope you enjoy looking at my site.
